Avena carries the finest bloodlines of several top European jumper stallions - Abglanz, Valentin, Traumgeist, and Totilas - all from the renowned Dingo-Dampfross line. Rocky is a grandson of the internationally famous show jumper - Rio Grande. This foal was born on May 21, 2004 - a very long legged and big boned fellow - like his sire Rio's Shadow! Rocky is currently well broken on the flat - walk, trot and canter - with ease. He is pictured at 3 months of age.
